Mancherial Muncipality

Mancherial municipality was etablished in 1956. Both private and government owned hospitals and nursing homes in the town cater to a wide area and diverse population, including miners, tribals and farmers from the surrounding areas. Specialists from Hyderabad and Warangal often visit the city to address complicated cases.

Mancherial City Temples

Mancherial city is also home to some of the most famous temples in the Adilabad district. The major attraction is the Sri Vishwanath Alayam which comprises of temples for Lord Shiva, Lord Venkateshwara and Goddess Durga. The Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple is one of the oldest temples and is located on the banks of the Godavari river.
